Done and Dusted- March Empties

Hello,
I meant to post this a couple of days ago but other things popped up. During March I tried to start using up my beauty bits and buy as few as I could. Needless to say, I failed at not buying new, but I have been good at using up the old first. Here's what I managed to get through in March.
Vaseline Rosy Lips- This is by far my favourite from the Vaseline collection and I already have a new pot of this on the go. I think this is probably the first ever lip balm that I have used to death, and that was after a couple of years in daily use so well done Rosy Lips : )

Estee Lauder Invisible Fluid Sample- This came with last months issue of Glamour and I instantly fell in love and got myself matched up. I now wear it every day. Its delightful because your skin breathes freely and looks and feels just like you aren't wearing make-up. You look like you, only better!

Elegant Touch Rapid Dry- This is a very useful creation that I got for Christmas. I wasn't too keen on the greasiness it left around nails, but other than that I loved it and may have to re-buy.

Sunsilk Deep Brunette Shampoo and Conditioner- These had been lying around the bathroom for literally years half used because I got bored of the smell and moved onto something new. I love the formula of these because it leaves skin feeling soft and looking silky. I'm quite relieved they're gone though because I'm still not keen on the strong scent.

Kleenex Eye Make-up Removal Wipes- These were another Christmas present. I like the Kleenex range, even if it is an unexpected move from a tissue company...or maybe not if soft paper is what floats their boat. These wipes were a slightly odd shape which annoyed me a little when using them, but they did work a treat so I would definitely pick them up if they're on offer, but maybe not full price.

No7 Lash 360 Mascara- I was slightly sad to see this run out because it is a wonderful mascara that makes eye lashes look great. I was asked several times whilst wearing it if I was using false lashes. A real must have item.

French Connection Liquid Eyeliner- This didn't as much run out as totally die on me. It had been getting a bit weird and lumpy for several months but one morning it had just sort of...turned. It was useless so it had to go. Up until then I had loved it dearly though and used it almost every day for goodness knows how long. I don't know if you can buy this individually but I am keeping an eye out.

MAC Eyebrow Pencil in Spiked- It was a sad sad day when my beloved Spiked pencil ran out. I truly loved this product. It was the perfect colour for my brows and applied well without looking too drawn on due to the thinness of it. I'm trying out a different brand at the moment but I know I will go back to this before too long.

Over all, I don't think I've done too badly, especially since I only decided to do this nearly half way into the month, but lets hope April goes even better :)
How about you, how many empties have you managed to clear this month? Link me to yours, I'd love to see.

  1. Great empties :) I've used the sunsilk shampoo and conditioner for blonde hair and liked it, but I haven't used it in years!

  2. I'll check yours out now, I love empties posts. I used to love Sunsilk but I'd forgotten how strong they smell. I'm on Aussie Miracle now and adore it. xx
