WiFi issues have kept me away again in the last couple of weeks, blogging nightmare, however, I've been taking the time to beaver away, giving some beautiful products a proper look so that I can share their fabbiness with you :)
With the change of seasons my eczema has been a complete disaster area and I've been left really sore from scratching subconsciously at my feet and ankles in particular. No one wants to have big sore patches, especially in the summer when sandals and bare legs are a must.
Steam Cream was recommended to me as a wonderfully natural, light and incredibly fast acting moisturiser- not dissimilar actually to Lush's Dream Cream which is another favourite of mine- with ingredients tailored specifically to soothe and nourish all skin types head to toe and aid those with eczema and other skin related woes.
Packed full of oatmeal infusion, cocoa butter, rose, lavender and neroli, the ingredients actively work to calm irritation on the skin, balance dryness and reduce redness. This is also enhanced by glycerine which acts both as a humectant that locks moisture into the skin but also as a protective barrier against any external elements. Summed up...the recipe for perfect eczema relief!
From the first use I have loved this product. It sinks in straight away thanks to the fusing process during production which uses steam to blast the ingredients and give it the unique light texture, gives long lasting, effective results and is even vegan friendly. You can pick up one of many beautifully designed 75ml tins from their website for £12.95 which I think is amazing value for such a high quality product.
Have you tried Steam Cream? What do you think of it?

Barry M Silk Finish Nail Paint
It's no secret that I am a fan of girly, painted nails. I am always on the look out for interesting new shades or finishes so I was fascinated by the soft pastel shades of the new Barry M Silk finish collection that launched recently. I picked up two shades to give a try; Pearl which is a creamy white and Meadow which is a light, minty green.
I have to start out by saying that I love these polishes! The consistency, the colours, the longevity... everything!
I was rather worried when I bought Pearl as white polishes in my experience tend to be too watery, and take hours to build up to an opaque finish but this actually only took three thin coats which, due to the unique formula, didn't take long as it dries quickly. Meadow is my favourite of the two however. I am slightly biased as minty shades are some of my most loved colours to wear but what I really like about it is that the formula really does look just like silk. You get a metallic shimmer which sits in a semi matte base and gives that very feminine effect that you get when silk catches in the sunlight. I got lots of nice comments about the polishes as well which is always a positive!
Have you tried any of the Barry M Silk range? What are your thoughts on them? Are you as impressed as I am?

Fresh Beginnings. Lately I've been...
You may have noticed that things have been rather quiet around here lately. This has been due to lots of big and exciting changes in my life over the last couple of months and I've found myself with a lot less free time to spend.
At the beginning of April I started a full time administration office job which I am really enjoying but when combined with drama rehearsals in the evening, every day bits and bobs and having been spending weekends in some lovely company away from home it has effected my blogging schedule something awful!
I do however have some great posts lined up now and using my shiny new Galaxy tablet, I will be able to get them up in lunch breaks, on the train or anywhere else I happen to be which I fine rather exciting!
So, what have I been up to?
Well, as I said, I have started a new job working as an office administrator in the centre of Bath for a great company. So far I have been really enjoying it and while being a massive change, I feel like I've been there ages already :)
I have also spent a couple of sunny weekends at the seaside! Think long walks on the beach, cocktails, sea life, great company and rock climbing. Bliss!
Finally, I have spent lots of time with all the people who mean a lot to me. This has included lots of visits to places like Wagamama for overly delicious food. Any excuse eh ;)
So that's a little snapshot of what I have been up to lately, and I promise it won't be weeks before my next post like it was this time!
