From the Scrapbook #4

Hello lovely blog readers,
I am so happy; today I became the proud owner of a gorgeous dark blue leather Osprey London handbag. I am in love with it! And after being good and saving a lot of money lately, I thought I deserved a treat :) Isn't it beautiful?
I think we're all rather fed up of winter now and are looking forward to spring arriving so for this week's From the Scrapbook theme I chose Pastel Colours to create some pretty bits and pieces for you to use.

This sweet blog header suits most colour schemes and can be personalised by adding your blog name to the empty purple backing and also by adding a tag line along the floral banner. I like the simplicity and I can't get enough of chevrons at the moment. This scrap can be saved as a JPEG or PNG file.

This scrap is perfect for adding to any scrapbooking project. The shield frame is left transparent so that you are able to add your own photo and the speech bubble allows you to add a description or quote. I have also kept the chevron pattern light so that text can easily be added here should you wish. Save this scrap as a PNG file.

Finally, this little tag is a sweet addition to a scrapbook page or could even be used as an invitation to a tea party where you can hand write the details on the back of the tag or something like that. I've been looking for an excuse to use the little purple tea cup for a while now!

So there we go for another week. I hope you like these bits and pieces and, as always, I'd love to see them in action.
Have a nice evening :)

From the Scrapbook #3

Hello,
The time of week has come once again for another From the Scrapbook post. With valentine's day almost upon us, this week I have put together some Valentine's themed scraps for you to use.

This sweet "forever yours" tag was made using the Shabby Blogs Madelyn Kit that you can download for free over at their blog. It would look adorable on your valentines gift and the light colours make it a less garish choice. Save as a JPEG or PNG file.

This polaroid style photo frame provides a cute way to scrapbook the perfect photo of you and your loved one on valentines day. Save as a PNG file to keep the frame transparent for your scrapbooking needs :)

This tongue in cheek gnome tag is perfect for a less serious gift. And who doesn't love a comedy garden gnome? Save as a JPEG or PNG file and then print for the perfect comedy gift tag.

Finally, we have the virtual love note. For those of you not lucky enough to be able to see your loved one this valentines day, I have created the virtual love note which has space for you to add a photo, a small romantic message or caption for the photo and space for you to add "10 things I love about you". I think an email containing this would be a lovely treat on Vday. Save as a PNG file.

I hope you like this weeks offerings, and as always, I'd love to hear if you use any of these creations :)
Have a great day!

From the Scrapbook # 2

Hello,
Sunday again so its time for another From The Scrapbook post.
Sadly, earlier this week, my nan passed away. She had a long, happy life before dying during her sleep peacefully at 94 years old. She always loved the colour yellow so this week's scraps are all yellow in a small tribute to her.
So heres to Kathleen <3

Yellow:
First we have a pretty yellow striped blog header with space on the grey stripe to add your blog name and an empty shield frame to add a photo. Save as a PNG file to keep the frame empty.

This sweet shield blog accessory would be cute to use in scrap-booking projects of for making announcements on your blog. It could also be used to brighten up your "about me" section of your page.
Save as a PNG file to avoid having a white frame around the edge.

This is a cute little gift tag that could be used for any occasion on gifts. I thought it would be a nice alternative to the usual pink and red hearts used on gift tags for valentines day.

I hope you like this weeks offerings. Which is your favourite? Next week I will have so pretty valentines themed freebie scraps for you to brighten up your gifts to loved ones.

From the Scrapbook #1

Hello!
I's so excited to say that today is the first installment of "From the Scrapbook" a weekly feature dedicated to the wonder that is virtual scrapping :)

This weeks goodies are all about: Travel
Simply save them as a .PNG file on your computer and away you go.

First we have a lovely wide blog header that includes room to add your own photo to the polaroid frame and add your blog name to the floral postcard.

Next we have a cute post pretty where you can add your own holiday photo to the polaroid frame and then use the grid paper in the rounded frame to tell your blog readers all about what is in the photo.

And finally we have a sweet little gift tag, decorated with a hot air balloon and the phrase "last night I dreamt I was flying" which would be perfect for a going away present or for anyone with an interest in traveling.

I'm particularly keen on the gift tag myself. Which is your favourite? I would love to see if you use one of these freebies so it would be great if you'd send me a link :) Hope everyone has a lovely sunday, I'm off to make a chicken pie (yumyum!)

Ta Da

Hello!
So here we are, the new look blog with a cute new name :) What do you think?
I had a little bit of a panic when I tried to change the url and realised that would mean losing all followers and starting again (eep!) but all is good now and the old url is back.

So lets kick off with some information about the new features I have planned for you :)

From the Scrapbook:
From the scrapbook is a weekly feature that I will add every Sunday with some fun little virtual scraps for you to use in your projects and  lovely blog headers to brighten up your page.

A Photo a Week Challenge:

The weekly photo challenge is Friday's weekly feature and will have a photo added each week under a different topic.

The Weekly Wedding Fix:
In this feature, to be posted every Wednesday (to cheer us girlies up midweek!) I will provide a weekly inspiration mood board for every wedding theme you could wish for.

The Lust List:
The lust list is a monthly feature to be added at the end of each month showing a rundown of my top lusted after items from the last few weeks.
Expect designer handbags, sex-u-al shoes and kooky home wares :)

As well as these I will also be adding the odd recipe, reviews of any particularly good books I read and most likely, some of my random musings.

And there we have it, one new and improved blog. Let me know what you think. Which feature are you most looking forward to? We start off tomorrow with "From the Scrapbook"!
