Free Things :)
Hello,
I'm finally home after leaving for work at 9.40 this morning! Bearing in mind that it is now 10.28 in the evening, I think we can safely say that it's been a busy day.
Before settling down for the night to sleep for as long as is possible, I wanted to remind you about my little giveaway to celebrate 50 followers. So far, I have to say that I'm surprised how little interest there has been in the giveaway because I thought everyone loved free things! If you've missed the details, here is a photo of what I'm offering.
We have a cute pair of yellow button earrings, a ribbon and button rosette brooch and a little ribbon and button flower bobby pin, the combined worth of which is just under £10, I also have a small surprise beauty product gift to slip into the package for the winner to make things that little bit extra special :)
To enter:
All you have to do to be in with the chance of winning these pretty little gifts is follow my blog either using Google Friend Connect or Bloglovin' and leave me a comment either on this post or on the original giveaway post letting me know that you have done this.
The competition closes at midnight on Thursday 15th March and I will announce the winner on Friday 16th.
Good luck,
Annie x

What a Lovely Day for a Giveaway :)
Hello!
Today has been wonderful so far. I had a lovely trip into town with one of my very best friends where we took advantage of the lunch offer in Giraffe (I had pumpkin moussaka and a soya hot chocolate, she had gammon and chips and a diet coke) and generally had a nice time catching up. Then we hit the shops and I had a very productive time and managed to pick up all the things I needed...and a few extras, but thats a whole other post! Now I'm just taking some time out to relax :)
Like I said yesterday, I hit what for me is a mini milestone, when I reached 50 followers. To celebrate this and thank my lovely readers for their support I'm hosting a little giveaway. Recently I had to close down Lampy's Place which was my little folksy shop, but I still love making so I'm offering a little selection of my handmade goodies to one lucky blog reader.
I've chosen a pair of cute yellow button earrings, a white and yellow ribbon flower bobby pin and a dark yellow rosette brooch because spring has definitely been in the air here today in Bath so I'm feeling a lot of love for springy shades of yellow.

Lampy's Place
Hi, I'll start off by saying once again that I have been a bad blogger and neglected my blog for too long, Christmas is just too exciting and distracting clearly! I hope you all had a great time, I know I did. But now that all of the festivity is done and dusted and just a few lonely chocolate reindeer that the New Year diet forbids us to eat remain, it is time for things to go back to normal.
This, of course starts with the obligatory New Year's resolutions. Every year we make them and every year we break them. So I decided that this year, instead of torturing myself with the promise of happily slipping into size 8 jeans by this time next year, I would do something worth while that would actually do me some good. For this reason, I have decided that my New Year's resolution is to bring some calm and order to my overly hectic life. These last few months have been crazy and its time to slow things down a bit and rest.
Sadly, that means I have closed down my lovely little folksy shop. Unfortunately I just haven't been able to find the time to craft things any more so my little shop was being even more neglected than my blog and without the time to advertise, the sales just weren't coming. So for now Lampy's Place has closed its doors. Maybe one day it will re-open.
On a more positive note though, this does mean I will have more time for baking, blogging, sleeping and relaxing which is a lush way to spend time between work, commuting between Bath and Canterbury and writing essays :)
What are other peoples resolutions this year?

Holiday Time!
Hello peeps,
As you may know, on Monday evening I'm off trekking around South Europe for three weeks with the OH. Starting off by flying over to portugal then working our way through Spain, along the coast of the south of France and through to Italy.
This means that my shop will be closing for that time so if there is anything you want to pick up before I close up then pop on over soon so I can catch the Saturday post!
As a little extra incentive I will be offering a free gift with every purchase until then!

Craft Stall :)
Hello!
So, today was the day of my stall at the Midsomer Norton Medieval Family Day and it went pretty well even if I do say so myself! I sold, I met some nice people and I spent four hours listening to a barrel organ...which was...loud.
As promised I have some photos of my pretty little stall :)
I thought it looked really sweet, especially against the brick wall behind :)
What do you think? Pretty? Or need some improving? Any comments appreciated.

Peter the Penguin! :)
Hello there!
Let me introduce you to the newest addition to my folksy shop: Peter the Penguin!
Peter is a handmade from eco-friendly felt that has been made using recycled plastic bottles which I think is pretty dandy! I have hand sewn his belly on and securely glued on his oversized beak and cute feet.
I love him, so I have to say I won't be too disappointed if he doesn't sell :P Even so, he costs just £1.50 if he takes your fancy :)
I have a long day tomorrow making lots of pretty stock for my stall on saturday which will be pretty fun, I have some new ideas to try out :D I might even make some finger puppets. Pictures will be added tomorrow evening when I'm done! What are you up to tomorrow?

Folksy Shop
Second post of the day, naughty naughty!
I thought now would be as good a time as any to plug my shop on Folksy.
Here I sell all the funky little accessories that I make in my spare time. I use a wide range of recycled and vintage materials in my work and do all I can to keep them planet friendly.
Pop on over and take a look for yourself. Even if you aren't keen on what I have to offer, folksy is a great site for finding great handmade work by British designers and crafters.
Happy folksying!
