Hello,
As you probably know, I attended the iFabbo conference in London on Saturday. It was a great experience and I think we all learnt a lot about how to make the most from our blog. Every single panelist spoke brilliantly and their love of what they do was clear and it was an honour to get the time to speak to them all and hear about their success.
I also met so many lovely fellow bloggers which is one of my favourite aspects of blogging events. One of the downsides to blogging is that unless you live in a fairly central location, you never get the chance to meet most of the ladies whos blog you follow so it really is lovely to match up the name with the face and have a proper face to face conversation.
My main job was to take the photos for the iFabbo team to use so I spent most of the day snapping away happily. Heres a few of my favourite photos from the day.
I just want to say a huge thank you to the ladies from iFabbo who put together this amazing event and also for giving me the chance to be there. It was more than worth the 6am start to the day!
Did you go the the iFabbo conference? Which was your favourite panel? I really enjoyed the PR relationship panel and the Social Media utilization panel.
The complete collection of my photos can be found on the iFabbo facebook page, here :)

The Time Has Come
Hello,
So guys, the countdown is over and tomorrow morning I will be heading to Kettners in Soho, London for the first UK iFabbo blogging conference.
Its all been a bit mad this evening to be honest. The "chunky cam" (as I like to call it) is on charge ready to take the photos, a more suitably sized handbag that actually holds all of my things has been selected and my outfit has finally been chosen. Now I just have to paint my nails and be excited :)
I have todrag myself, half alive, out of leave the house at about 6.50 in the morning to get my train so its going to be a pretty long one and I doubt I'll be awake enough to blog when I get home, but I'll be sure to fill you all in on Sunday.
In other fab news, I have a trial shift in an LK Bennett store on Wednesday. How perfect would that job be for me? Everyone knows I can't resist a good pair of shoes or a fancy handbag!
Are you going tomorrow? If you are then grab me and say hi! I'll be the one who looks like a clown after having to apply her makeup in the dark at 6am :P I'm uber friendly though and would love to catch up with all of you lovely ladies who are going, and I'll even take a lovely photo of you for the iFabbo website!

ps, heres a fun photo for you as I'm in such a good mood :) I honestly cried with laughter when I first saw this picture. Toast = true love

Exciting News and the iFabbo Blogging Conference in London
Hello,
On many levels, today has been a bad day for me. However, I'm excited to tell you that I have some fantabulous news.
I will be taking the official photographs for the iFabbo Social Media Blogger Conference which is being held at Kettners in London on May 26th.
I was excited enough when I heard about the conference so I was over the moon when I was approached to work with iFabbo on the big day.
On the day of the conference 5 panels will be held with the aim of helping you to maximize your blog. There will be information on how to build, brand, expand, market and monetise your blog from some of the top people in the field including industry professionals and experienced bloggers.
As well as being a great and informative day where the main aim is to learn a lot about both beauty and fashion blogging, there will also be an afternoon tea where you can relax and indulge yourself a little and a cocktail hour where everyone will be able to mingle and put names to faces. And don't forget the iFabbo gift bag that will be on offer to all delegates (I've heard from one of the organizers herself that the swag bags are looking incredible)
I'll be dapping around taking lots of photos of all the goings on so grab me and say hi and I'll be sure to take a lovely photo of you enjoying yourself :)
Will you be going to the iFabbo conference? What are you most looking forward to?
Hope to see you there!

NOTD- Nails Inc Emerald Street
Hello,
Now the weather is cheering up, I am loving bright nails so I was excited to try out one of my new polishes; Emerald Street by Nails Inc.
And I wasn't disappointed! The colour is a beautiful deep green which has a gorgeous sparkle to it. I was also happy to see that it applied opaque in just one coat which is a bonus for people as impatient as me who just cannot bear waiting for coat after coat to dry.
Over the top of Emerald Street I applied a generous layer of my favourite Bourjois glitter polish. Its part of their one second application range so hasa wide brush that you just sweep across the nail once and bam, instant whole nail coverage :)
I have to say that I wasn't overly inspired by this combination so I have now removed it and replaced with Maliblush from the Nails Inc Cocktail Collection topped with a pretty coat of Carnival by Technic. When I get paid I'm thinking about investing in a set of nail art pens so that I can channel a little more creativity than just applying glitter over a base!
In other news, have any of you heard about the first iFabbo conference and meet up in London which is taking place in Kettner's on 26th May. I will be there and am already so excited. Will any of you be going along? It would be great to meet some of you lovely ladies who's blogs I read and put a face to the names :)

Oops, I Seem to Have Been Shopping Again
Hello,
Sorry for the lack of post yesterday, I was so worn out from work I just collapsed when I got home.
Today I seem to have been spending again (oops!) as we took a trip over to Swindon to have a nosey around the outlet centre. I have to say, my main motive for wanting to visit was for one of the country's few "The Cosmetics Company Store" which is Estee Lauder's outlet store and holds brands such as Mac, Estee Lauder, Clinique and Bobbi Brown all at discounted prices, and oh god, it was worth it, I could have spent hundreds there.
I was fairly restrained today, mainly because I have so little money at the moment, but I did treat myself to a few bits and bobs.
A couple of essentials I grabbed in Sainsburys were the Nivea Visage daily essentials 2 in 1 cleanser and toner and facial cleansing wipes. All Nivea Visage is currently buy one get one free in Sainsbury's so you might like to check that out!
In The Body Shop I picked up a Hand Cleanse Gel which is coconut scented and lovely on the hands. Usually antibacterial gels sting and leave my hands dry and icky smelling so this makes a lovely change. I also bought a tube of the Candied Ginger Hand Cream which was part of the christmas line wo was reduced. This will live in my handbag too so that I can perk my hands up during the day. It smells so lovely, just like Christmas time!
Finally, my ultimate treat was the Bobbi Brown Pastel Eye Shadow Palette from The Cosmetics Company Store. This is totally beautiful. I fell in love straight away and at £20 it was a complete bargain.
I will do a full review with swatches of this palette in a little while for you but I just had to show how gorgeous is it inside. I'm in love, and I will use this far more then the Urban Decay Naked palettes that I have been lusting after for ages.
Like I say, I will write a review for the palette and I'll do reviews for the Body Shop goodies too so keep an eye out.
In other exciting news, I am now an iFabbo endorsed beauty blog! I'm really happy about this because it will allow me to get to know other iFabbo beauty bloggers and get keep up to date with blogging events as well as getting in touch with brands about product releases and other exciting things. But what makes me most proud is that it means the lovely iFabbo team have approved me as a credible source of information about beauty products and that they feel my reviews are fair and insightful. So thank you iFabbo, it makes me so happy to know that what I write here is good enough :) I feel truly privileged.
What do you think of my latest buys? Have you ever tried any of these products? Have you ever visited a The Cosmetics Company Store outlet?
